On a cold evening with sporadic rain and a chilling wind 215 people gathered at the Hastings Clock Tower to commemorate the second anniversary of the terrible events that took place on Israel’s southern border with Gaza in 2023. Due to the adverse weather conditions the program was shortened, but nevertheless the well attended crowd braved it our for forty minutes while we paid respect to Israel’s fallen and prayed for the release of the remaining 48 hostages, 20 of which were thought to be still alive.
