The Coalition of Ministers Supporting Israel is ideal for reaching out to politicians – both local and central government. Communication between COMS-Israel and our key leaders and politicians has been happening since 7 October 2023. Politicians know that most often any Church minister/pastor has a congregation following him/her. Therefore the pastors in COMS represent a much larger group of people. Numbers mean influence and persuasion with our secular leaders. We can wisely use our influence to speak on matters pertaining to Israel and be used by God to fulfill the ideal of Isaiah the prophet: For Zion’s sake I will not keep silent, for Jerusalem’s sake I will not remain quiet... Isaiah 62:1.
Following are our communications with politicians starting with the latest:

The specially drafted and printed dossier was presented to the advisors as well as to all 65 members of the government coalition. That dossier is here in a PDF version:

One Response
It’s wonderful that we still have faithful Christians in NZ who stand for righteousness. I have written to PM Luxon and Winston Peters, explaining that any recognition of Palestine will make no difference to God’s protection and purpose for Israel, but would only stand as a statement of defiance against the God of Israel. I have urged support for COMS-Israel.
Also, I’ve emailed Chloe Swarbrick with a challenge to listen to a testimony from a Palestinian woman, niece of Interfada founder, who gives inside information of the corruption in Hamas and the “death to Israel” mindset that is beyond all possibility of negotiation.
