COMS-Israel Reaching Politicians

The Coalition of Ministers Supporting Israel is ideal for reaching out to politicians – both local and central government. Communication between COMS-Israel and our key leaders and politicians has been happening since 7 October 2023. Politicians know that most often any Church minister/pastor has a congregation following him/her. Therefore the pastors in COMS represent a much larger group of people. Numbers mean influence and persuasion with our secular leaders. We can wisely use our influence to speak on matters pertaining to Israel and be used by God to fulfill the ideal of Isaiah the prophet: For Zion’s sake I will not keep silent, for Jerusalem’s sake I will not remain quiet... Isaiah 62:1.

12 June 2025 – NZ Sanctions two Israeli Cabinet Ministers

Email sent to Foreign Minister Winston Peters, and copies sent to Prime Minister Christopher Luxon, Associate Minister of Foreign Affairs Todd McClay, Labour Spokesperson Peeni Henare, Friend of Israel Act MP Simon Court.


14 March 2025: Chloe Swarbrick’s Bill to Sanction Israel
