After changing the title from “Happy Birthday to the State of Israel” to “IN DEFENCE OF ISRAEL”, Stuff newspapers finally allowed us to print.

On Israel’s 76th anniversary we wanted to show strong advocacy for the nation particularly in light of the antisemitic manifestations in New Zealand since 7 October 2023.

Full page articles/adverts were placed in main newspapers in the second week of September 2021, calling for people to support our petition to Parliament for an embassy in the State of Israel.

We carried this article twice in both the NZ Herald and the Hawkes Bay Today as a half page (February 24, 27, 28) to counter the bias of the International Criminal Court’s decision.

We covered pretty much the entire nation this year with the reason why the Jewish people are justified in having their own independent state.

As part of our seventieth anniversary celebrations of the birth of the Modern State of Israel we placed this full page in the NZ Herald, Dominion Post and all the Hawkes Bay papers.

Our response to the United Nations Security Council Resolution 2334 (UNSC Res. 2334) was first a protest outside Parliament on 30 January 2016, and then
